MEME 2012 Workshops

The 2012 MEME Workshops are a unique full-day learning experience. Once a year we have the amazing opportunity to bring together a vibrant community of aspiring producers and professionals. The workshops will take place at Manitoba Music, located only blocks away from the festival main stage and venues.

Training will be delivered by local industry professionals and an array of international producers who will be performing at the festival throughout the weekend.

Goals

•Expose newcomers to the basics of electronic music production

•Provide an opportunity for aspiring producers to be mentored by professionals

•Nurture our local community of producers by providing a forum for networking

•Create an opportunity to learn about careers in music production from industry professionals

Days: Saturday, June 23rd

Time: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (registration begins at 9:30 a.m.)

Fee: $25 per registrant

•Fans of electronic music who wants to learn more about how it is created

•Aspiring producers at all skill levels seeking to further their knowledge and expand their network

•Panels of professionals featuring fascinating discussion topics & a question period

•A segment demonstrating mobile music production on the iPhone & iPad
