In Flipside’s words, none of them can be duplicated, which is the sign of a real artist.

If that’s the case, then MC Flipside is the definition of a true entertainer.

Miz Megs

Miz Megs has been immersed in electronic music since 1996 and wanted to learn how to DJ since the beginning. She felt really passionate about house music and knew so many tracks so it only made sense to learn. So in 2003, she bought 2 Technics 1200 and a ghetto-ass mixer and got her (patient) friends to teach her and the rest is history.

Miz Megs’ style is a mix of house, tech house and techno with some bassey flavor. Megs is known for her flawless mixing, energy, upbeat personality and her way to work a crowd. She has opened and closed for some of the best in the business and can throw down as a headliner in any city.

Megs’ influences range from Luciano, Green Velvet, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Deep Dish (Sharam & Dubfire), Joseph Capriati, DJ Sneak, Gene Farris, Johnny Fiasco, Mark Farina, DJ Heather etc.

Miz Megs has toured and held residencies all over Asia and Canada with many bookings in the USA and Europe. Check out her page, links, sets and videos to see for yourself!

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Demuir started off as a child playing around on his Dad’s Hammond B3 organ, before beginning to play music seriously at the age of 16, with skills covering the keys, bass guitar, drums and percussion instruments. These releases are another addition to his growing catalogue, incl. In 2019, his booking schedule took him to play shows for Elrow in Barcelona & Miami, Paradise @ Art Basel/Miami, Coda/Toronto, Halcyon/SF and House of Yes/NYC + tours in Australia, Europe, Asia and South America.
In addition to his extensive touring Demuir also champions the Underground on his own label Purveyor Underground with upcoming releases by Sidney Charles and Mason Maynard.

MEME Stream 2.0 – Noah Pred

Noah Pred

Coaxing nuanced expression from analog machines and digital possibilities alike, Noah Pred has been envisioning the future through electronic music for over twenty years. Following his 2018 release of two full-lengths charting the territories between deep space experimentalism, intricate polyrhythms, delicate soundscapes, evocative acid, and expansive dub frontiers, 2019 saw him reinterpreting his signature production style anew with a slew of raw, minimalist, hypnotic techno EPs.

A two-time Juno Award nominee in his native Canada, a music educator and technologist in his adopted hometown Berlin, an alum of Cynosure, Highgrade, and Trapez LTD, and founder of the acclaimed Thoughtless imprint, Noah is also a DJ whose past residencies at Stereobar in Montreal and Fukhouse in Toronto helped lay the framework for his dynamic yet fluid sets that continue to resonate with diverse communities.

A notable member of Canada’s burgeoning underground of the early 2000s, Pred’s distinctive production style earned him a place among his peers with releases on Immigrant, Intrinsic Design, and Consigned Recordings. Driven by the fuel that fired up Thoughtless, Noah relocated to Berlin in 2011, where his creative horizons continued to expand via collaborative projects with Tom Clark as False Image on Get Physical, with Pablo Bolivar on Apparel and Biotop, with Tim Xavier on Alphahouse, and with Deepchild as Concubine.

Between his recent solo EPs for Traumraum, Compute, and Face To Face, his vivid sets of techno, house, and electro, the advanced sound design of his haunting atmospherics, and the ever-evolving scope of his technical capabilities, Noah’s commitment to electronic innovation remains as strong as ever - and in the face of global uncertainty, his utopian sonic narratives have never felt so vital.

Tom Baker - a nocturnal life. With releases on Wiggle, Brique Rouge and Wrong Recordings, Tom’s low- slung bass-driven take on the underground sound has powered some of the world’s best festivals, clubs and parties.

But big clubs and headline gigs are not Tom’s only accolade. His underground credentials have been honed through countless warehouse parties where those in the know vote with their feet. Uncompromisingly selective, Tom digs ever deeper for the real dance floor gems. That’s why the dance music glitterati from Fabric in London to Sonar in Vancouver have good reason to remember his name.

Tom’s early ear was subliminally tuned in the late 80's when Tom discovered the London acid house scene. He’s been a true convert to the cause ever since, not just as a soldier of the underground, but one of the scene’s true green berets.

A humble C90 cassette tape, mailed into Mixmag’s bedroom DJ competition in 1994 submitted his obsession with warm, relentless, underground grooves. He beat over a thousand hopefuls to first place, enough to win him gigs at a string of high profile events. Seminal London clubs such as The Gallery at Turnmills, Bagley’s Film Studios and Ministry of Sound all booked him, but it was the crowd reaction to his innovative and eclectic sets that secured his reputation.

By 2000 there was a residency at Sound Architecture in Rotterdam and a non-stop itinerary of bookings all over Europe. Tom’s record box soon found its way around Asia and all over the Americas, and internet broadcasting via Pulse Radio with Natalie C helped him reach an even broader audience. The show ran every week for five years, played host to a talent roster that reads like a who’s who of the London scene, and included broadcasting live from the Winter Music Conference in Miami.

And underground legends such as Terry Francis and Asad Rizvi have conferred their own marque of distinction on Tom’s productions. His early collaborations with Lawrence Mohamed were signed to Wiggle, Wrong and Brique Rouge – seminal labels that have established tech-house as a global phenomenon through a succession of world-class releases.

Hear Tom in action behind the decks and you’ll find yourself immersed in a soundscape that’s impossible to ignore. His sets are always heartfelt, ever enticing and sometimes just downright filthy. Meet him at the bar you’ll be wowed by his knowledge, enthusiasm, warmth and wicked sense of humour. Book him to play and you’re assured of much more than tried and tested floor-fillers with all the usual drops and hooks. You’ll be teased by sounds that are the distillation of a thousand nights of sweat-drenched walls.

“Kloves”, is a Canadian techno producer, currently working from Calgary, AB. Kloves heritage is a blend of Hungarian and Filipino decent, an ancestry she speaks to through the naming conventions of her tracks.

She first became interested in music when she was eight years old and her grandfather taught her how to play the drums. During her teenage years, Kloves took an interest in the acoustic guitar, which she self-taught herself to play. Testing the waters as a singer/song- writer, she joined forces with another musician to form the acoustic electro pop band. As Kloves’ tastes matured, so did her love for electronic music. By the early 2000’s, Krystle went from bandmate, to electro DJ/Producer, which later evolved into house music.

‘Kloves’ is a project symbolizing her focus in a gritty direction, but contains a unique sound that is both edgy and inciting. A direction inspired by such artists Scuba, Florian Meindl, Emmanuel, Dax J, Nicole Moudaber, and the likes of labels A R T S, FLASH, Polegroup, and Token.

Kloves has released on renowned techno labels FLASH Recordings, A R T S Digital, Funk’N Deep Records, Unity Records and her track “Eksibit”, was featured in Scuba’s Fabric mix on Fabric Records that was released in October of 2016. Later in 2017, Kloves founded OBSKUR MUSIC with her best mate ‘Nomad Black’. OBSKUR’s goal is to focus on the darker dimensions of Techno, staying underground while showcasing established & upcoming Techno artists world-wide. New release schedules for the remainder of 2017 include her second EP on FLASH Recordings, tunes on Trau-ma, Skylab Records, Shaping Music and releases on her own label OBSKUR MUSIC.
